Julia and Aiyana O’Dwyer, a mother and daughter team, are the founders and creative directors of BroenHaus, a boutique interior design and project management firm located on Vancouver’s Westside. Together, they specialize in crafting beautiful and practical custom solutions for home renovations. BroenHaus Design is dedicated to providing personalized services that reflect their clients' unique tastes and needs and ensuring every project is executed with creativity and expertise.

WHERE THERE IS LIGHT, THERE IS HOPE!
Where there is light, there is hope!
The Porte Cochère is the entrance to Homes For The Holidays 2024, introducing guests to an atmosphere of contemplation and wonder.
Our inspiration draws from the event’s charity partner, Take a Hike Foundation, and its dedicated efforts to brighten the lives of youth. Just as the foundation empowers young people through transformative outdoor experiences, our design seeks to create a space that invites visitors to reflect on the gift of light in the dark.
Imagine walking through the wintry woods and coming upon a magical clearing where you curl up in a warm and comfortable nest of tranquility

surrounded by nature. In the stillness of this imagined forest glade, the stars reveal themselves against the dark sky, symbolizing hope and opportunity. The world is muffled by a blanket of fresh snow offering you a moment of stillness away from the hustle and bustle of the season. Contributing to this charming tableau are Da Fiori Design for all things floral and Little White House for furniture and accessories. Trees are graciously provided by Hunters Garden Centre.
This thoughtful introduction sets the mood for a charity event designed to inspire and reflect, fostering a deeper connection with the foundation's mission and an appreciation for the natural world.
