FESTIVE SEASON EVENT!

QUINTESSENTIAL

On Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22, 2026 we'll bring together award-winning interior design teams with professional florists and home décor retailers all within one venue: UBC’s iconic Cecil Green Park House. It's a magical event, made even more special because all proceeds directly support YWCA BC's Housing Action Fund

The cliff-top mansion is transformed to showcase uniquely festive décor ideas ranging from tablescapes to room vignettes for you to reimagine in your own home. Our guests will enjoy a self-guided tour with music and refreshments as they wander through the exquisitely decorated rooms of one of Vancouver’s most prestigious properties.

TERRACE OF TREES

After touring the beautifully decorated rooms at the Cecil Green mansion, wander outside to the covered Terrace of Trees overlooking the gorgeous gardens of Cecil Green Park. We hope you’ll take time to linger here and admire the sponsored trees all tastefully decorated by professional designers.

SILENT AUCTION

On the terrace, you can also peruse the items in our carefully curated Silent Auction – we hope you’ll place some bids on anything that catches your eye. Not only will you get an early start on your holiday shopping, but you’ll be directly supporting the families who need it most!

BOUTIQUE BOULEVARD

Returning this year! Homes For The Holidays Boutique Boulevard! We are delighted to present a picturesque boulevard of evergreens. Each tree will be brimming with its own carefully chosen holiday ornament that promises to add a touch of magic to your own festive décor. Choose a take-home ornament to serve as a cherished reminder of the season.

The Homes for the Holidays event creates the magic of the season not just with the talents of many talented designers, but also with local musical performers. Throughout the event, attendees will enjoy performances by choirs, harpists, singers and pianists, bringing warmth and holiday cheer to every beautifully decorated room. From timeless classics to festive favourites, the music will set the perfect backdrop as you explore stunning designs, shop the Boutique Boulevard and take in the spirit of the season.

FROM OUR 2026 CHAIR

MESSAGE

Welcome to Homes For The Holidays 2026.

It is an honour to serve as Chair of this remarkable event and to continue a tradition that has brought together Vancouver's design community in support of an important cause for more than two decades.

I was first introduced to Homes For The Holidays by a dear friend who was one of its founding sponsors, and attending the event quickly became one of my favourite holiday traditions. Year after year, I looked forward to kicking off the season by touring beautifully decorated spaces while supporting an important cause. I never imagined that one day I would be serving as Chair, and it is truly an honour to help guide the next chapter of this remarkable event.

As both an interior designer and a longtime committee member, I have had the privilege of experiencing Homes For The Holidays from many perspectives over the years. Since joining the committee in 2017, I've watched the event evolve while remaining true to its purpose. Throughout its history, Homes For The Holidays has supported organizations dedicated to improving the lives of children and families, including Kids Help Phone and the Take a Hike Foundation.

While 2026 marks only our second year supporting the YWCA BC Housing Action Fund, it feels like a natural continuation of that legacy. By helping provide safe, stable housing for single mothers and their children, YWCA BC creates the foundation families need to thrive. In many ways, it is a perfect match for an event centred around the idea of home.

What makes Homes For The Holidays so special is the incredible community behind it. Designers, florists, retailers, sponsors, volunteers, and guests all come together to transform Cecil Green Park House into a celebration of creativity, generosity, and holiday spirit. Every beautifully decorated room, every wreath, every auction item, and every ticket purchased contributes to something much larger than a holiday event.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to growing the impact of this event while preserving the warmth, creativity, and sense of community that have made it so beloved for more than twenty years. My hope is that Homes For The Holidays continues to inspire not only through beautiful design, but through the collective impact we can make when we come together around a shared purpose.

Whether you are joining us for the first time or returning as a longtime supporter, thank you for being part of this tradition. We look forward to welcoming you to Cecil Green Park House this November 21st and 22nd for a memorable weekend of design, community, and giving.

Warmly,

Trish Knight
