FESTIVE SEASON EVENT!
QUINTESSENTIAL
On Saturday, November 18th and Sunday, November 19th, we brought together five award-winning interior design teams with professional florists and home décor retailers all within one venue: UBC’s iconic Cecil Green Park House. It was a magical event, made even more special because all proceeds directly benefit the young people in Take a Hike programs!
The cliff-top mansion was transformed to showcase uniquely festive décor ideas ranging from tablescapes to room vignettes for you to reimagine in your own home. Our guests enjoyed a self-guided tour with music and refreshments as they wandered through the exquisitely decorated rooms of one of Vancouver’s most prestigious properties.

TERRACE OF TREES
After touring the beautifully decorated rooms at the Cecil Green mansion, wander outside to the covered Terrace of Trees overlooking the gorgeous gardens of Cecil Green Park. We hope you’ll take time to linger here and admire the sponsored trees — all tastefully decorated by professional designers.
SILENT AUCTION
On the terrace, you can also peruse the items in our carefully curated Silent Auction – we hope you’ll place some bids on anything that catches your eye. Not only will you get an early start on your holiday shopping, but you’ll be directly supporting the young people that need it most!

Giving - it's the reason for the season! There will be plenty of opportunities to learn more about Take a Hike at this year’s Homes For The Holidays. However, if you would like to hear some youth stories, or donate here. We happen to think that a donation to Take a Hike makes a great holiday gift too!

As Co-Chairs of this year’s Homes For The Holidays we are very excited to welcome you back to this wonderful initiative.
This year we are thrilled to be returning to a modified live event within a single venue at the prestigious Cecil Green Park House.
Proceeds from Homes For The Holidays have, in the past, supported youth and mental health charities. This year is no exception. We are proud to support Take a Hike Foundation.

Take a Hike partners with public school districts to engage vulnerable youth in a full-time mental health and emotional well-being program embedded in an alternate education classroom.
Throughout the event you can expect to be dazzled by the creativity of hand-picked top Interior Designers and by the incredible floral displays from the best of our city’s floral community.
In addition, we have once again partnered with countless merchants that have renewed their generous support, year after year, lending their wares for our holiday transformations.
By participating in this annual event your compassion and support will shine a light of hope and love in the lives of vulnerable youth who need it most. The true spirit of Christmas lies in the giving and your contributions will definitely make a difference.
